In yahoo it also open buddy info as soon as you roll over any buddy name not just on left buddy icon. I think its same effects in both, I think Windows Live Messenger has better way to display it.

And whilst we’re talking google improvements… when you view a message straight from a googlemail notifier alert, there should be a report spam button on the page with the email!
